now that i’ve been turned on to painting…
it is ANYBODYS game folks
i’m gettin ready to do this accent wall in here.
gem turquoise...i followed my mother's advice and got the kind that has primer IN the paint. cause who needs that additional step.
i decided on the color above by bher
and i’ve been thinkin’ on spray painting my photo frames to make them pop against that wall
and considering what elements i want to use in putting it together
long before it became popular
my momma always loved to have a whole lotta stuff on the wall
as i got older…i realized that i do too
i call it a “junky wall”
it can have anything on it…from framed postcards
to an old license plate
a tambourine
just whatever moves me
here lately in decor
i started seeing walls like this pop up

i love that! though it’s a lil bit more than i’m actually going for
but the above pic looks like a collection of trinkets that you’d find in your grandparents’ dresser drawers.
i love the trend of adding letters in to the mix.
i want to do something similar on the wall behind my couch…once it’s completely turquoise
i’m gonna rummage through my bins and see what i have and whatnot
over on ladybird and fellow they did something wonderful over their mantle
i LOVE the look of what they achieved in this photo with air plants and driftwood.

now i don’t want to do that on a large scale…but to have a short piece of wood…or maybe a longer one
depending on what i find/how i feel
and then do some air plants hanging from it/nestled on it and maybe
hang one of these luscious feather ornaments on it as well.

i’m also not opposed to adding one of these exquisite things to the mix…to hang my feather ornament from.
so yeah…a partially live gallery/accent wall.
i’m down wit it.
