i’m feeling deeply satisfied…
scented candles burning
bathed and oiled and replete with ethiopian food
wearing a silk kimono
under my FAVORITE throw
sitting on my golden couch
toes enjoying the texture of my rug
and listening to my jazzy christmas station that i created on pandora
i know things are coming together in my home
when i cannot WAIT to get home
JUST to sit inside of the sanctuary that i’ve created for myself…
and i’mmon tell y’all what
i’m not finna mention that i want my walls painted too many more times
before i go on and do it my blessed self…
i just want some accent walls done…
and i’ve been inspired to stencil some curtains…
i plan to gather up some simple sailcloth curtains
and doll them up with this
i’m actually considering using it on my side tables too
i was initially gonna top them with fabric
i have two more major purchases to make
my pots
and my tv
after that…people will be hard pressed to get me to leave my house…
seriously…
and THAT is how i know i’m doin’ the damned thing!
