last night i watched a lil piece of gladiator
and in the interest of not going to sleep with gruesome battle as the last image in my mind
i did a lil google search on a possible mantra to manifest a living space…
and i ran across the ara kara mantra…
apparently it’s lovely for manifesting ANYTHING that you want to manifest that is in good order etc. etc.
now…i’m not getting ready to use it because at this time it just doesn’t FEEL right to me.
but on THIS blog…this individual is suggesting a meditational practice with the mantra that i find interesting and useful!
The meditation is simply to close your eyes and “place” the sound Ara Kara (in whatever meaning that word “place” has for you) deep INTO your right eye, then deep INTO your left eye, then ONTO your right eardrum, then ONTO your left eardrum, then INTO your right nostril, then INTO your left nostril, then ONTO the back of your tongue, then ONTO the middle of your tongue, then ONTO the tip of your tongue, and then everywhere onto your skin.
Then, with this sound “placed” in or on ALL of your perceiving senses, and feeling the feeling of this sound occupying all of your perceiving senses, you think about what you want to manifest.
the mantra that i’ve been working with for YEARS to good effect is:
Om Shrim Maha Lakshmiyei Swaha
what i DIDN’T know is this little tidbit here about it…
Just wanted to add that, in Thomas Ashley-Farrand’s “Mantra: Sacred Words of Power,” he expressed that “you should use the word namaha [instead of Swaha] if you are younger than 28; that is, in the first Saturnian learning cycle of your life. At 29, the body’s energy rises to the solar plexus chakra. The feminine form of the mantra–using Swaha in place of the gender-neutral Namaha–is more useful at this point. (from a comment under the video)
though this is likely because i was 29 or older at that point and i was using what i needed
and a couplea years ago…i saw the mantra with “Gum” added in…
Gum is the seed mantra for the removal of obstacles
so it goes
Om Gum Shrim Maha Lakshmiyei Swaha
set to a lil music…i like it…
